we are dealing in taxable as well as in tax free goods. we want to adopt composition scheme under delhi vat. whether we have to pay 1% tax on turnover of taxable goods or turnover including tax free goods.

You need to pay composite tax on total turnover. There is no scope of deduction of tax free turnvover from the total turnvoer. The meaning of total turnover is as follows: "(zm)"turnover" means the aggregate of the amounts of sale price received or receivable by the person in any tax period, reduced by any tax for which the person is liable under section 3 of this Act;"
