REFUND OF MOT CHARGES, Customs - Exim - SEZ

RESPECTED SIR, OUR UNIT PAID MOT CHARGES TO CUSTOMS OF MUMBAI. FROM JULY 2010 OUR UNIT COME UNDER CENTRAL EXCISE. BY MISTAKE MOT CHARGES FOR THE MONTH JULY,AUGUST,SEPTEMBER,OCTOBER 2010 PAID TO CUSTOM. CENTRAL EXCISE WANT TO PAID THIS MOT CHARGES TO THEM.CAN WE GET REFUND OF THIS MOT CHARGES FROM CUSTOMS? WHAT IS THE SOLUTION OF THIS MATTER,PLEASE HELP US. KINDLY DO THE NEEDFUL. THANKING YOU, YOURS FAITHFULLY.

It is one way to get the refund from the customs and pay to excise department but the other way is that you may make a request to the custom department to transfer the fund the central excise since the department is same, administration is same the only issue that who would administer.
