Mandatory SCMTR manifest filing at all Indian ports & ICDs from 16 Jan 2025.

Effective 16th January 2025, filing of arrival, departure and local manifests in accordance with Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment Regulations (SCMTR) 2018 formats will become mandatory at all Indian sea ports and ICDs. SCMTR formats are already implemented at 9 major ports since 10th September 2024. Stakeholders must comply with SCMTR message formats, guidelines and advisories available on ICEGATE website for smooth transition. Test filings in SCMTR format are recommended before the mandatory rollout date.
