Amends Notification No. 79/2008 dated 13-6-2008 - the rate of export duty on iron ore lumps has been reduced from 15% to 5% ad valorem. NOTIFICATION NO 130/2008-Cus. Dated: December 7, 2008 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification No. 79/2008-Customs, dated the 13th June, 2008 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 458(E), namely :- In the said notification, for the figures and words "15% ad valorem", the figures and words "5% ad valorem" shall be substituted.
