Rule 1 - RULE - Rule For Acceptance Of Shipping Bill Delivered Under Section 137(A) [Old]Extract [C.B.R. Notification No. 133-Cus., dated 22nd June, 1957 ] In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of section 9 of the Sea Customs Act, 1878 (8 of 1878), as in force in India and as applied to the State of Pondicherry, the Central Board of Revenue hereby makes the following rule, namely :- RULE The Customs [ 1 [Principal Commissioner or Commissioner as the case may be]] may, in his discretion, refuse to accept a shipping bill delivered under clause (a) of section 137 of the Sea Customs Act, 1878 (8 of 1878), until after an order for entry outwards of the vessel, by which it is proposed to ship the goods for export, has been given by the Customs [ 1 [Principal Commissioner or Commissioner as the case may be]] under Section 61 of the said Act. ---------------- Notes:- 1.
