Prior to their omission, regulation read as under: 29. Appeal to the Securities Appellate Tribunal.─ Any person aggrieved by an order of the Board made, on and after the commencement of the Securities Laws (Second Amendment) Act, 1999, (i.e., after 16th December 1999), under these regulations may prefer an appeal to a Securities Appellate Tribunal having jurisdiction in the matter. [Regulation 29 substituted for the following by the SEBI (Appeal to Securities Appellate Tribunal) (Amendment) Regulations, 2000, w.e.f. 28-3-2000: 29. Appeal to the Central Government.─ Any person aggrieved by an order of the Board under the regulations may prefer an appeal to the Central Government in the prescribed manner. ]
