Government of India Ministry of Finance Department of Revenue OFFICE OF THE CHIEF COMMISSIONER OF CENTRAL EXCISE BANGALORE ZONE, C R BUILDING QUEENS ROAD BANGALORE 560 001 Service Tax Trade Notice No. 02/2015 Dated 22.01.2015. ***** Attention of the Trade is invited to Notification No. 01/2015 ST dated 20.01.2015 wherein, a change has been brought about in the jurisdiction of the existing Office of the Principal Commissioner of Service Tax-I II, TTMC / BMTC Building, Old Airport Road, Domlur, Bangalore 560 071. 2. The jurisdiction of the Commissionerates, Divisions and Groups has been formed based on the jurisdiction of the re-organised BBMP Wards communicated vide Notification No. UDD 59 MLR 2009, Bangalore, dated 15.07.2009 issued by Urban Development Department, Government of Karnataka, in terms of Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act,1976 and the peripheral Taluks and Districts. 3. The new jurisdictions of the Commissionerates, Divisions and Groups with effect from 20.01.2015 have been defined and are as per the schedule annexed hereto. 4.The assessees are requested to visit the Departmental website www.bangaloreservicetax.gov.in to know about the new jurisdiction and for any difficulty the assesses are requested to contact the PROs 080-25353037, 080-25131793. 5. All the Trade Associations and Chambers of Commerce and Industries are requested to bring the contents of this Trade Notice to the knowledge of their constituent members in general and services/agencies in particular. 6. After 20.01.2015 and till the process of migration to new CDR is completed, assessees would continue to pay duty using their existing CDR code (Commissionerate, Division and Range Code). It is also advised that all assessee may mandatorily mention the Service Tax Registration No.in all their correspondences. 7. This Trade notice supersedes all other Trade Notices issued in this regard till date 8. The receipt of this Trade Notice may please be acknowledged.
