In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, (2015-2020) , the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby revises the subject and Paragraph I of the Public Notice No.38/ (2015-2020) dated 6th October, 2016 as under: Existing subject and Paragraph 1 of Public Notice No. 38/2015-2020 Revised subject and Paragraph 1 of Public Notice No. 38/ 2015-2020 Subject: Procedure governing import of un-shredded scrap ( HMS- I HMS- II ) under Para 2.54 of Handbook of Procedures (2015-2020). In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy, (2015-2020), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby inserts a new para (v) detailing the conditions governing clearance of imports of un-shredded scrap ( HMS- I HMS- II ) by sea ports under Para 2.54 - Import of Metallic Waste and Scrap in the Handbook of Procedures, 2015-2020 as under: Subject: Procedure governing import of un-shredded Metallic Waste and Scrap under Para 2.54 of Handbook of Procedures (2015-2020). Effect of this Public Notice: The wordings HMS -I HMS - II as appearing in Public Notice No.38/ (2015-2020) dated 6 th October, 2016 are replaced by un-shredded Metallic Waste and Scrap .
