No. V/ Misc-129/ DMN/T/17-18 DATED 14.05.2019 TRADE NOTICE NO. 02/2019 Sub:- (1) Change in address of Departmental Portal for e-Filing of Registration, Returns etc. under Central Excise (2) Extension of time limit for filing of monthly return for production and removal of goods and other relevant particulars and CENVAT credit specified in Form ER-I and specified in ER-2. (3) Revised procedure for electronic filing of Central Excise returns and for electronic payment of Excise duty and Service tax arrears under the new portal www.cbic-gst.gov.in. Attention is invited to the Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce, Members of Regional Advisory Committee and all the stake holders, informing that the migration and integration of legacy data from www.aces.gov.in to www.cbic-gst.gov.in is taking place and the ACES application will remain disabled during the transition period till 25.05.2019. P.ease refer the Notification No.01/2019-Central Excise (N.T.) dated 08.05.2019 for more details. (2) To provide adequate window to the taxpayers to file prescribed returns, it has been decided to extend the e-filling time limits for such returns due in April 2019 to 10th June 2019. Please refer order No. 01/2019 dated 08.05.2019 issued vide F.No. 267/ 58/ 2019/CX-8 for more details. (3) On completion of the integration migration as above, the application will be available for taxpayers and tax officers respectively at www.cbic-gst.gov.in and https://appstore.cbec.gov.in from 26.05.2019. (4) To access the application, post migration, the existing taxpayers under central excise and service tax need to login in the Tax Payer Log in at new portal by using existing user id and password credentials (used by them to login to ACES portal). (5) For new taxpayers, taxpayers need to register with the portal www.cbic-gst.gov.in at first instance by providing information in the Sew in New User in the portal. On successful submission of registration form, Application Reference No. (ARN) is generated and communicated to the user. The Registration form will be forwarded to AC/DC of the selected Division and after approval of the A-1 form, Registration Number along with temporary password will be communicated to user through e-mail/ SMS- Please refer circular no. 1069/2/20190 dated 8 th May 2019 regarding revised procedure for electronic filing of Central Excise returns (6) All the Members of Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce and Regional Advisory Committee are requested to publicize the contents of this Trade Notice among their Members/ Constituents.
