To : M/s. Nava Bharat Enterprises Ltd. Please refer to your letter No. Ex. 545, dated 11th Sept., 1993 wherein you have requested that the provisions under Rule 93 relating to printing of name and address of the factory, number of registration certificate on wrappers, outer cartons and label and month and year of manufacture on the Cigarette packets should not be made applicable to 100% EOUs. 2. For Cigarettes manufactured by you for export, and where the export goods are moved from the factory to the port of shipment under the prescribed procedures of Central Excise the provisions of the Rule 93-b are relaxed subject to the only requirements that all the outer corrugated fibre Board container (CFCs) will bear the following particulars :- "NBEL - followed by Pin Code Number of the factory". 3. This relaxation will however not be available for goods cleared DTA market. You may approach the Collector of Central Excise concern for necessary action.
