Artificial Fibres - Indian Laws - GeneralExtract Artificial Fibres Artificial fibres can be divided into two main groups; regenerated and synthetic. In the first class a further sub- division can be made between fibres made from regenerated cellulose, i.e. viscose, acetate and cuprammonium protein such as Fibrolane. Fibres in the second class are strictly synthetic in the sense that they are built up from simple chemical compounds into the complex molecular structure required. They are classified according to their chemical composition: polyamides (nylon and perlorn) SIRSILK LTD. VERSUS TEXTILE COMMITTEE - 1988 (9) TMI 346 - SUPREME COURT
