Amendment in Notification No. G.S.R. 381(E), dated 27-6-2006 - GSR 763(E) - Prevention of Money-Laundering

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) Notification New Delhi, the dated 15-9-2010 GSR 763(E),- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of section 66 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (15 of 2003) , the Central Government on being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest to do so, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (i) vide number GSR 381(E), dated the 27th June, 2006 , namely :- In the said notification, after serial number (12) and the entries relating thereto the following entries shall be inserted, namely :- (13) State Police Department; and (14) Regulator, as defined under clause (fa) of rule 2 of the Prevention of Money Laundering (Maintenance of Records of the Nature and Value of Transactions, the Procedure and Manner of Maintaining and time for Furnishing Information and Verification and Maintenance of Records of the Identity of the Clients of the Banking Companies, Financial Institutions and Intermediaries) Rules, 2005.
