Seeks to amend Notification No. G.S.R. 382(E) dated 27 June 2006 - G.S.R. 609(E) - Prevention of Money-Laundering

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Revenue) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st October, 2020 G.S.R. 609(E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of section 66 of the Prevention of Money-laundering Act, 2002 (15 of 2003), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 382(E), dated the 27th June, 2006, namely :- In the said notification, after serial number (9) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (10) Central Economic Intelligence Bureau. .
