Central Government de-notifies an area of 1.68 hectares at Greater Noida in the State of Uttar Pradesh, thereby making the resultant area as 3.326754 hectares - S.O. 4083 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 10th November, 2020 S.O. 4083 (E). -Whereas, M/s. Artha Infratech Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for IT/ITES (formerly Electronic Hardware and Software including IT/ITES) at Greater Noida in the State of Uttar Pradesh; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified an area of 10.006754 hectares and later de-notified an area of 5.00 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Gazette Notifications Number S.O. 1026(E) dated 11th May, 2011 and S.O. 3273(E) dated 11th September, 2019 respectively; AND, WHEREAS, M/s. Artha Infratech Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 1.68 hectares from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. 2119/77 3 20 04(SEZ)/10 dated 14th October, 2020; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Noida, SEZ has recommended the proposal for de-notification of an area of 1.68 hectares of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 1.68 hectares at Greater Noida in the State of Uttar Pradesh, thereby making the resultant area as 3.326754 hectares, comprising the Plot number and the area given below in the table, namely:- TABLE FOR DE-NOTIFICATION AREA Sl.
