Central Government de-notifies an area of 0.75 hectare at Plot No. 21, Sector Techzone-IV, Greater Noida, District Gautam Budh Nagar in the State of Uttar Pradesh, thereby making the resultant area as 2.576754 hectares. - S.O. 5479 (E). - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th December, 2021 S.O. 5479 (E). Whereas, M/s. Artha Infratech Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for IT/ITES (formerly Electronic Hardware and Software including IT/ITES) at Plot No. 21, Sector Techzone-IV, Greater Noida, District Gautam Budh Nagar in the State of Uttar Pradesh; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified and de-notified the areas as detailed given below in the table: - S. Artha Infratech Private Limited has now proposed for de-notification of 0.75 hectare from the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh has given its approval to the proposal vide letter No. 2156/77 3 21 04SEZ/10 dated 07th October, 2021; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, Noida, SEZ has recommended the proposal for denotification of an area of 0.75 hectare of the Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and the de-notified land shall be used for IT/ITES purpose only to facilitate development of IT industries and IT enabled services; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 0.75 hectare at Plot No. 21, Sector Techzone-IV, Greater Noida, District Gautam Budh Nagar in the State of Uttar Pradesh, thereby making the resultant area as 2.576754 hectares.
