Desferrioxamine injection - Exempted

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 75/94-Central Excises, dated 29th March, 1994, namely :-

In the Table annexed to the said notification, -

(i) against S. No. 6, in column (3), for the entry "Desferrioxamine mesylate injection, Desferrioxamine methane sulphonate injection" shall be substituted ;

(ii) after S. No. 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :-
