Rescinds Notification Nos. 225/85-C.E. and 134/87-C.E. w.e.f. 1-9-1991

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5A of the Central Excise and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely :-

1. No. 221/85-C.E., dated the 6th October, 1985.

2. No. 134/87-C.E., dated the 4th May, 1987.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of September, 1991.
