Amendment to Notification No. 40/85-C.E. [Ch. 28]

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 40/85-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :-

In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 13, in column (3), for the words "dimethyl terephthalate" the words "dimethyl terephthalate or terephthalic acid" shall be substituted.
