Lime, burnt lime and bleach liquor

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 40/85-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :-

In the Table annexed to the said notification, -

(i) against S. No. 7, in column (2), the word "lime" shall be omitted;

(ii) against S. No. 9, in column (2), the words "burnt lime" shall be omitted; and

(iii) against S. No. 19, in column (3), the words "and bleach liquor" shall be omitted.
