Transfer of Residence (Amendment) Rules, 1991 Notification No. 54/91-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1978, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Transfer of Residence (Amendment) Rules, 1991. (2) They shall come into force on the 25th day of July, 1991. 2. In the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1978, in rule 4, for the words "fifty thousand rupees", the words "sixty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
