Exchange rate for Russian Rouble Notification No. 55/90-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 7-9-1990 In pursuance of sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 48/90-NT-Customs [G.S.R No. 706(E)], dated the 10th August, 1990 the Central Government hereby determined that for the purposes of section 14 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for conversion of one Russian Rouble into Indian currency or vice-versa, shall be rupees 21.8640. This rate will be effective from Friday, the 7th September, 1990.
