Exemption to specified goods imported by DefenceCoast Gaurd, Deptt. of Revenue, Police Forces, HAL, specified ordnance Factories and for ATVP, IGMDP, SAMYUKTA, LCAP, SANGRAHA, DIVYA DRISHTI and DHANUSH Programmes - Amends Notification No. 39/96 - Customs, dated 23-07-1996 - 51/2010 - Customs -TariffExtract Exemption to specified goods imported by Defence Coast Gaurd, Deptt. of Revenue, Police Forces, HAL, specified ordnance Factories and for ATVP, IGMDP, SAMYUKTA, LCAP, SANGRAHA, DIVYA DRISHTI and DHANUSH Programmes - Amends Notification No. 39/96 - Customs, dated 23-07-1996 [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA , EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) New Delhi , dated the 16th April, 2010 Notification No. 51/2010-Customs G.S.R. 328 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.39/96 -Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996 , published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R.291 (E) dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely:- In the said notification , in the Table, against S.No.14, in Column (3), in the Explanation, for the words, letters and figures, "the 31st day of December, 2009", the words, letters and figures, "the 1st day of January 2011" shall be substituted. [F.No.354/12/2008-TRU] (Prashant Kumar) Under Secretary to the Government of India Note:- The principal notification No.39/96-Customs dated the 23rd July, 1996 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 291 (E), dated the 23rd July,1996 and last amended vide notification No.32/2010-Customs dated the 11th March, 2010 , published vide number G.S.R. 184(E), dated the 11th March, 2010.
