Amendments in Schedule XIII to Companies Act, 1956 - GSR. 565(E), - Companies Law

Notification No. GSR. 565(E), dated 14-8-2002, issued by Department of Company Affairs Subject:- Amendments in Schedule XIII to Companies Act, 1956 G.S.R. 565(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 641 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in Schedule XIII to the said Act, namely : 1. In the said Schedule, in Part II, in section II, in paragraph 1, after clause (C), the following clause shall be inserted, namely : (D) not exceeding Rs. 2,40,00,000 per annum or Rs. 20,00,000 per month in respect of companies in Special Economic Zones as notified by Department of Commerce from time to time : Provided that these companies have not raised any money by public issue of shares or debentures in India : Provided further that such companies have not made any default in India in repayment of any of its debts (including public deposits) or debentures or interest payable thereon for a continuous period of thirty days in any financial year. 2. It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
