G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), on and from the 1 st day of April,2000, namely:-
1. Notification number 24/97-CE(N.T.), dated the 25th July, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 412 (E), dated the 25th July, 1997;
2. Notification number 30/97-CE(N.T.), dated the 1st August, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 445 (E), dated the 1st August, 1997;
3. Notification number 31/97-CE(N.T.), dated the 1st August, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 446 (E), dated the 1st August, 1997;
4. Notification number 32/97-CE(N.T.), dated the 1st August, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 447 (E), dated the 1st August, 1997;
5. Notification number, 47/97-CE, dated the 1st August, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 438 (E), dated the 1st August, 1997; and
6. Notification number 48/97-CE, dated the 1st August, 1997 published in the Official Gazette vide number G.S.R. 439 (E), dated the 1st August, 1997.
