Amends Notification No.20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 (Seeks to prescribe effective rates of duty for goods falling under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975) [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA , EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) New Delhi dated the 10 th January, 2008 Notification No.7/2008-Customs G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No.20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006 , which was published vide G.S.R. 92(E), dated the 1st March, 2006, namely:- In the said notification, in para 3, after item (xi), the following shall be added, namely:- (xii) No. 2/2007-Customs, dated the 5 th January, 2007, G.S.R.10(E), dated the 5 th January, 2007.
