K. Raheja Universal Private Limited, Maharashtra Notification No : S.O. 965(E), dated 13-6-2007. Whereas M/s. K. Raheja Universal Private Limited, a private organisation in the State of Maharashtra, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Raheja Infocity-I, Plot No. 2/1/B, Block-D, Trans-Thane Creek Industrial Area, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Villages Kukshet and Shirvane, Opposite Juinagar Railway Station, Taluka - Thane, Navi Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of formal approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at the said Kukshet and Shirvane Villages area on 6th November, 2006; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Raheja Infocity-I, Plot No. 2/1/B, Block-D, Trans-Thane Creek Industrial Area, MIDC, Villages Kukshet and Shirvane, Opposite Juinagar Railway Station, Taluka-Thane, Navi Mumbai in the State of Maharashtra, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given below in the table, as a Special Economic Zones namely :— Table Sl.No. Name of village Survey number Area (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) 1.
