COIMBATORE HITECH INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED, TAMIL NADU Notification No : S.O. 1558(E), dated 17-9-2007. Whereas M/s. Coimbatore Hitech Infrastructure Private Limited has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Keeranatham Village, Coimbatore (N) Taluk, Coimbatore District in the State of Tamil Nadu; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the said Act for development and operation of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at the said village on 20th August, 2006 over an area of 60.73 hectares; And whereas the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, has notified the total area of 34.66 hectares at Keeranatham Village, Coimbatore (N) Taluk, Coimbatore District in the State of Tamil Nadu as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry vide notification No. S.O. 1936(E), dated 9th November, 2006; And whereas M/s. Coimbatore Hitech lnfrastructure Private Limited has proposed to notify the part of the remaining area of 12.66 hectares at Keeranatham Village, Coimbatore (N) Taluk, Coimbatore District in the State of Tamil Nadu as a part of that Special Economic Zone; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the part of the remaining area of 12.66 hectares at Keeranatham Village, Coimbatore (N) Taluk, Coimbatore District in the State of Tamil Nadu, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given in the Table below, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:— Table S.No. Name of Village Survey number Area (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) 1.
