Export of imported goods from Pakistan to Nepal

  • Contents

Dear Sir,

Please clarify us as under:

1) We S.S. Overseas, Meerut, are importer and exporter. We want to know whether goods imported from Pakistan, can be exported to Nepal as per FTP 2015-20. If yes, we shall be allowed for exemption for custom duty as well IGST,

2) We are also planning to have a company in Nepal. Hence, please clarify whether a Nepal Company can use Indian Land Route for Import of goods from Pakistan or sea port also or both way are allowed to use.

With best regards,

Pushpendra Sharma

In our view in such scenarios the payment must be received in Foreign Convertible Currency.

Yea both ways possible. However, I would like to provide you few suggestions related to selection of bank. Actually people are able to do transaction with PAK but somehow banks / RBI are unable to set off shipping bill for exports , such cases are not with every bank but we have faced some situation and at end moment we need to transfer data via EDPMS (Export Data Processing Monitoring System) from one bank to another bank just to set off shipping bill for exports.
