Sir, I m preparing job work service invoice on 31/03/2021.

Whether I m eligible to prepare E-invoice for the same today.

What is time limit for generation of E-invoice.

Dear Sir,

1. If your job worker satisfy the NN 13/2020-CT, then he has to issue e-invoice.

2. E-invoice time limit is as per general invoicing time limit.

The e invoice portal presently does not restrict generation of e invoices which are dated prior to the date of generation.

Yes, the IRP - Invoice Registration Portal does not restricts the generation of e-invoice for prior dated invoice.
