VIII/Cus/Tech/TN/48-123/19-20/Pt-I Dated: 26-03-2020 PUBLIC NOTICE. 22/2020 Sub:- Customs clearance at Ports/ Dry ports for Cargo Movement and Trade Facilitation on account of Covid-19 virus- reg. Attention of all Importers, Exporters, Customs House Agents (CHA), other Stakeholders and the Members of the Trade concerned are invited to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I(A) dated 24.03.2020 containing guidelines on the measures to be taken by the Ministries/Departments of Government of India, State/Union Territory Government for containment of COVID-19 Epidemic in the country with directions for strict implementation. 2. Further, vide Order dated 25.03.2020, addendum to the said Guidelines was issued wherein Customs clearance of Ports/Airports/Land Border, Operations of Airports and Seaports for Cargo Movement and Exports' being in the nature of essential services has been included in the exemption list from operation of the Disaster Management Act. 3. In compliance to the above orders dated 24.03.2020, 25.03.2020 of the Government of India and in terms of Hon'ble Finance Minister of India's directions in the Press Conference dated 24.03.2020 regarding Customs clearance to be provided 24*7 basis and to prevent any disruption in export/import of goods, it is decided in continuation to this office Standing Order dated 04.03.2020, as follows: (i) Pune Customs Commissionerate will continue to function 24*7 for clearance of export/import of goods at the Port/lCD under its jurisdiction. (ii) As per instruction of the Directorate General of Export Promotion vide F.No. DGEP/EOU/Misc./12/2019 dated 25.03.2020 endorsement can be given electronically over the email for import and export and acknowledgement can also be provided over email without the need of physical visit to the Customs office in view of the present situation. 4. The e-mails of the Ports/ Customs Facilitation Divisions within the jurisdiction of this office are as follows.
