SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 28 th November, 1995 S.O. No.939(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), the Securities and Exchange Board of India hereby makes the following regulations, namely:- 1. These regulations may be called the SEBI Securities (Payment of Fees) Amendment Regulations, 1995. 2. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 3. The Regulation specified in column (1) of the Table below shall be amended to the extent provided in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Table. Short title of the regulations Extent of amendment (1) (2) SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992. Paragraph 3 of the Third Schedule is substituted with the following : 'The fees specified above shall be paid on or before the 1st day of October each year payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Regulations, 1992. Paragraph 3 of the Third Schedule is substituted with the following: 'The fees specified in Paragraphs 1 and 2 above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Portfolio Managers) Regulations, 1993. Paragraph 4 of the Second Schedule is substituted with the following : The fees specified in Paragraphs 1 and 2 above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Registrars to an Issue and Share Transfer Agents) Regulations, 1993. Clause 3 of paragraph 2 of the Second Schedule is substituted with the following: The fees specified above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Underwriters) Regulations, 1993. Paragraph 4 of the Second Schedule is substituted with the following : The fees specified in paragraphs 1 and 2 above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India* at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Debenture Trustees) Regulations, 1993. Paragraph 4 of the Second Schedule is substituted with the following : 'The fees specified in paragraphs 1 and 2 above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India* at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Bankers to an Issue) Regulations, 1994. Paragraph 4 of the Second Schedule is substituted with the following : The fees specified in paragraphs 1 and 2 above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1992. The following is added to Schedule II as a new paragraph after the words Rs. 1 lakh . 'The fees specified above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.' SEBI (Foreign Institutional Investors) Regulations, 1995. Paragraph 3 of the Second Schedule is substituted with the following : The fees specified above shall be payable by draft in favour of The Securities and Exchange Board of India at Bombay, or at the respective regional office.'
