Central Government notifies an additional area of 3.9035 hectares, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 26.3261 hectares at Village Manjari Budruk, Taluka Haveli, District Pune, in the State of Maharashtra - S.O. 1508 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (SEZ SECTION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th March, 2024 S.O. 1508(E). WHEREAS, M/s. SEZ Bio-Tech Services Private Limited, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a Special Economic Zone for Biotechnology at Village Manjari Budruk, Taluka Haveli, District Pune, in the State of Maharashtra; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , had notified the following areas at above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below: - S. SEZ Bio-Tech Services Private Limited has now proposed to include an area of 3.9035 hectares as a part of above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 22nd February, 2024; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 3.9035 hectares, as a part of above Special Economic Zone, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone as 26.3261 hectares.
