To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for engineering sector at Village Rajoda, District Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat - S.O. 501(E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 17th February, 2009 S.O. 501(E). Whereas M/s. N.G. Realty Private Limited, a private organization in die State of Gujarat, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act; 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for engineering sector at Village Rajoda, District Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements were fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the Special Economic Zone for engineering sector at Rajoda Village area on 23rd May, 2007 on an area of 230 hectares; And whereas the Central Government, after being satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements were fulfilled, in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006, notified the total area of 105.5602 hectares, vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry number S.O. 420(E) dated the 3rd March, 2008 ; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the remaining area of 96.3105 hectares at Villages Rajoda and Chacharvadi Vasna, District Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely: TABLE S.No. Name of Village Survey/Block No. Area (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) 1.
