Setting up a sector specific SEZ for engineering sector at Village Rajoda, Taluka Bawala Ahmedabad - Gujarat - De-notification of certain area notified vide Notification numbers S.O. 420(E), dated 3rd March, 2008 and S.O. 501(E) dated 17th February, 2009 MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) New Delhi , the 13th August, 2010 S.O. 2003(E).- Whereas, M/s. N.G. Realty Private Limited a private organisation in the State of Gujrat, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for engineering sector at Village Rajoda, Taluka Bawala Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat; And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied, that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act , and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for an area of 230 hectares for devlopement, operation and maintenance of the above sector specific Special Economic Zone on the 23rd May, 2007. And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 , of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 had notified areas of 105.5602 hectares and 96.3105 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification numbers S.O. 420(E), dated 3rd March, 2008 and S.O. 501(E) dated 17th February, 2009 respectively; And whereas M/s. N.G. Realty Private Limited has now proposed to include an area of 15.2702 hectares out of the remaining area in the said Special Economic Zone; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby denotifies an area of 15.2702 hectares, as part of the above Special Economic Zone, thereby making total area of the Special Economic Zone, as 217.1409 hectares, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely :- Serial No. Name of the Village Survey/Block Number Area in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) 1.
