Amendment in Notification No. 21/2002( Exemption and effective rate of basic and additional duty -Exempts Pulses (0713) extended for 1st day of April, 2008 ) CUS NTF NO. 42/2007 DATE 20/03/2007 G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/2002-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2002 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.118 (E), dated the 1st March, 2002, namely:- In the said notification, in the preamble, in the proviso, in clause (f), for the words and figures "1st day of August, 2007", the words and figures "1st day of April, 2008" shall be substituted.
