C. No. V(30)CCO/LKO/Tech/03/2016/1958(5/2) Dated :21.06.2017 TRADE NOTICE NO.: 01/2017(LZ) Subject- Re-organization of Central Tax in GST Regime- reg. It is brought to the notice of the trade and public that vide Notification No. 2/2017- Central Tax dated 19.06.2017 issued under F. No. 349/52/2017-GST, which shall come into force on 22.06.2017, the jurisdiction of Central Excise Service Tax, Lucknow Zone, Lucknow has been re-organised for smooth switch over to Central Tax in GST regime. The Central Tax, Lucknow Zone, Lucknow is having jurisdiction in 58 districts as per annexure A. 2. Consequent upon the above said Notification, the Lucknow Central Tax Zone will be headed by the Principal Chief Commissioner of Central Tax, Lucknow and will comprise the following Commissionerates: (i) Allahabad (vi) Lucknow - Audit (ii) Varanasi (vii) Kanpur - Audit (iii) Lucknow (viii) Lucknow - Appeals (iv) Kanpur (ix) Allahabad - Appeals (v). Agra 3. The jurisdiction of the Commissionerates, Divisions and Ranges of the respective Commissionerates viz. Allahabad, Varanasi, Lucknow, Kanpur and Agra, Lucknow Audit Commissionerate and Kanpur Audit Commissionerate, and Lucknow (Appeals) and Allahabad (Appeals) Commissionerates are attached as Annexure-I, II, III, IV, V, VI VII. 4. The Notification shall come into effect on 22.06.20170 5. The taxpayers / trade are requested to carefully note the jurisdiction of the Commissionerates/Divisions/Ranges/Circles. All the members of the Regional Advisory Committee and Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce are requested to circulate this Trade Notice to all concerned, to facilitate the Publicrrrade and to avoid any hardship.
