The Government hereby rescinds the notification S.O. 2094(E), S.O. 808(E), S.O. 3610(E) - S.O. 4127 (E) - Special Economic Zone

MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th November, 2019 S.O. 4127(E).- WHEREAS, M/s. New Found Properties Leasing Private Limited, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Trans Thane Creek Industrial Area, MIDC, District Thane, in the State of Maharashtra; AND, WHEREAS, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the said Ac t read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006, had notified and denotified the following areas of above Special Economic Zone as per the details given below:- Sl. New Found Properties Leasing Private Limited has now proposed to denotify entire area of 13.92 hectares of the above Special Economic Zone; AND, WHEREAS, the State Government of Maharashtra has given its No Objection to the proposal vide letter No: SEZ-2015/CR-133/Ind-2 dated 5th April, 2019; AND, WHEREAS, the Development Commissioner, SEEPZ, Special Economic Zone has recommended the proposal for de-notification of entire area of 13.92 Hectares of the Special Economic Zone; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules 2006 , the Central Government hereby rescinds the above notification except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.
