Specified goods required by Doordarshan Notification No. 393/86-Cus. Dated 29-7-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 157-Customs, dated the 19th May, 1984, namely :- In the said notification, - (a) for Explanation (i), the following Explanation shall be substituted, namely:- "(ii) 'Special TV Expansion Plan' means the TV Expansion Plans of the Government of-India in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to extend TV coverage and improve programme production facilities". (b) in the Table, after Sl. No. 15 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "16. Very low power (10 watt) TV transmitters. 17. Transposers and Translators. 18. TV Relay Receivers. 19. Satellite Uplinks. 20. Microwave Links, mobile as well as fixed. 21. Colour OB Vans and EFP Vans without chassis or vehicular parts. 22. Video and Audio Switchers. 23. Initial spares for above equipments upto a value of 15 per cent." (c) in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1987", the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1988" shall be substituted.
